Dr. Jaber Alanzi is a board-certified urologist with an extensive background in both clinical practice and academic research. He earned his medical degree from the School of Medicine at Damascus University in Syria and completed a postdoctoral research fellowship along with a urology residency at the prestigious University of Pennsylvania. Additionally, Dr. Alanzi holds a master’s degree in sociology from New Mexico State University, reflecting his broad interests in the interplay between societal factors and individual health.
Throughout his career, Dr. Alanzi has made significant contributions to medical literature and is passionate about sharing his knowledge and experience. He has served as Chief of Staff at LMHS and is currently an associate professor at the University of Toledo.
Dr. Alanzi brings a wealth of experience from his time at an Ivy League residency program and his role as a director of urology in northwest Ohio. There, he established a comprehensive urology program, including a robotic surgery division. His practice encompasses a wide range of urological surgeries, from simple procedures to complex robotic surgeries. He provides medical and surgical treatments for conditions such as benign prostatic hypertrophy, urinary incontinence, men’s health issues, female urological disorders, kidney stones, and reconstructive urological surgery. Dr. Alanzi is committed to ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate care.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Alanzi enjoys spending time with his wife and two children, learning new languages, and exploring how societal factors influence health.
